Title:  Senior Sous Chef - West Gallery, Taguig

About the role

Be part of Jollibee Group's newly acquired cafe brand from Singapore, the Common Man Coffee Roasters!

In this full-time role, you will support the Head Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring exceptional food quality and service.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, menu planning, and staff supervision

  • Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items that align with the company's culinary vision

  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies and ingredients

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality/restaurant industry

  • Strong culinary skills and a deep understanding of food preparation techniques, presentation, and flavour profiles

  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage a team of kitchen staff

  • Passion for creating delicious, high-quality food and providing exceptional customer service
