Title:  Service Engineer

 

This Service Engineer  is responsible for the management of all service engineering-related activities for new and renovated stores for all SBUs in his assigned area.

 

Installation, testing, & commissioning of equipment for new stores

  • Manage schedules and actual site installation of kitchen equipment as per designed layout for all stores in of his assigned RBU.

  • Coordinate with accredited Service Providers, AM, RM, and Construction Engineer regarding the required site activities. 

  • Attend construction meetings during the progress of the activity.

  • Responsible for the creation of all necessary shopping carts for the activity.

  • Verification of the readiness of site and utilities for equipment delivery.

  • Manage testing and commissioning of all kitchen equipment.

  • Monitor and document progress and results of the installation and testing through the standard forms.  

  • Ensure equipment is in very good working condition and capable of producing GS products before turning over to Operations.

  • Evaluation of utilities (Power, Gas, Water, etc.) to ensure correct parameters for the proper function of the kitchen equipment.

  • Support Construction Engineer in the validation of HVAC and electrical systems in conformance with MEP design.

  • Endorsement of kitchen equipment to CE for turn over to store operations

 

Installation, testing, & commissioning for renovation stores

  • Evaluate and recommend equipment and facilities for re-use and replacement in coordination with RMS - FRM.

  • Provide cost estimates for requested refurbishing based on actual evaluation.

  • Responsible for the creation all necessary shopping carts for the activity.

  • Manage refurbishing works and testing as per set timetables.

  • Ensure equipment is in very good working condition and capable of producing Gold Standard products before turning over to Operations

  • Manage delivery, installation & testing of refurbish kitchen equipment for endorsement to Construction Engineer for turn-over to operations.

 

Assistance to store closure activities

  • Manage all engineering-related works for permanent store closure.

  • Responsible for the creation of all necessary shopping carts for the activity.

  • Turn-over of completed works to operations

 

Support new store/renovation opening/Re-opening

  • Manage presence and activities of stand-by technicians during store opening / blessing.

  • Monitor equipment function to ensure production of Gold Standard quality products.

  • Installation of back up equipment/ facility during opening periods as per request by the operations group.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

  • Must be a registered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Preferably with experience in refrigeration, air-conditioning or kitchen equipment maintenance.

  • Must have Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledgeable in Value Engineering (Cost effectiveness, technical upgrade, maximizing use of property).

  • Knowledgeable in computer software such as Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Paint Brush/Auto Cad (added advantage).

  • Willing to work on a 6-day workweek.
  • Willing to be assigned in Cubao, Quezon City (hybrid set-up).
