Title:  Facilities Support Services Engineer

The Facilities Support Services Engineer is responsible for ensuring the JFC stores in their area of jurisdiction the management of all service engineering related activities for Civil Works – store minor renovation non-SNDP projects, Special Projects Support, and Business Channel Program.

 

Minor Renovation of Stores

  • Manage the implementation of minor renovation works (non-SNDP projects).
  • Confers with Design Group regarding implementation details, construction materials, and other design standard.
  • Responsible in providing representation to any Government agency and/ or any private establishments which requires in-house technical expertise.
  • Coordinates and meets with mid-level Mall and Building Management to represent the JFC brand for all project matters and decisions as necessary.
  • Conduct site inspection, evaluation and actual measurement needed for project budgetary estimate.
  • Prepares cost estimate for the gathered data and present it to FSS Manager for approval.
  • Conduct on-site pre-bidding for contractors if necessary.
  • Conduct pre-Construction meeting and see to it that all requirements, necessary coordination, timelines, and permits are arranged.
  • Coordinates with suppliers for the timely request and delivery of owner supplied materials and equipment needed.

 

Special Project Support

  • Monitors the installation of pilot projects.
  • Conducts data gathering and performance monitoring of pilot units.
  • Conducts equipment assessment and evaluation and generate assessment report.
  • Prepares rehab scope of work and cost estimates, for use as decision point whether to rehab or dispose the equipment.
  • Recommends contractor for the dismantling, egress, and ingress activities, monitoring the agreed timelines and costing.
  • Conducts regular monitoring based on approved scope of works and timelines.
  • Provide cost estimates based on actual evaluation of projects. 
  • Responsible for the creation all necessary shopping carts for the activity.

 

Technical Support for Business Channel Program

  • Manage schedules and assists site installation for facility and utilities provision for booth, remote kitchen, Mobile Vans (JOW, POW, Chow-van, & GW Vans) deployments.
  • Verification of the readiness of site and utilities for equipment delivery
  • Monitors the sets-up of booths and remote kitchen for bulk orders.
  • Manage testing and commissioning of all equipment on booth, remote kitchen, and mobile vans.
  • Monitors the R&M of the mobile vans and equipment.
  • Handles for the equipment evaluation, rehabilitation and/or R&M activities in preparation for the B.O. season.
  • Coordinate with accredited Service Providers and Project In-Charge regarding the required site activities.  
  • Manage testing and commissioning of all kitchen equipment and mobile vans. Ensure all equipment are in good condition and capable of producing GS products before turning over to operations.
  • Endorsement of projects to operations. 
  • Responsible for the creation of all necessary shopping carts for the activity.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
  • Should be a Licensed Engineer (Electrical or Civil).
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in related field of discipline.
  • Willing to be assigned in Cubao, Quezon City
