Title:  Trade Marketing Manager (South Luzon)

The Trade Marketing Manager oversees marketing operations and develops category review of assigned regions to meet company’s goals and objectives and improve market share, customer satisfaction, and productivity performance:

  • Marketing Consultancy for the region
  • Management/implementation of corporate marketing standards, policies, and guidelines
  • Regional marketing directions
  • Regional special projects
  • Marketing training consultant
  • Category performance

 

Regional Marketing Plans

  • Develops and evolves activation programs
  • Plan, evaluate, and oversee execution of promotional and visibility activities within the region in cooperation with relevant Business Managers (includes but not limited to approval of merchandising materials/novelty items used by the stores/color proofing) to achieve maximum returns
  • Monitors progress of each region, region’s top-line business results
  • Ensure On Time, In Full execution of all trade programs

 

Trade Marketing Process and Solutions with External and Internal Customers to Grow Categories

  • Monitors, develops, and improves processes to link all Marketing activities with the activities of the Operations team
  • Designs, develops, implements, and evaluates execution strategies
  • Provides leadership in the translation and execution of Brand Marketing strategy into impactful trade programs
  • Recommends and tracks process check metrics

 

Product Category Review

  • Provide analytics and insight to customer dynamics using business/market intelligence data to drive business opportunities
  • Product & Category performance per store and per region
  • Provide monthly RBU/district product performance
  • Research and provide feedback reports on competitive activity, peculiar market situations, and any issues affecting the marketing of Chowking products in the region

 

Trade Marketing Training Programs

  • Drives trade marketing training needs of Area Managers, Store Managers, Store Marketing Managers, newly hired Management Trainees, and newly hired Trade Marketing Associates—techniques, practices, policies, and upcoming activities
  • Oversees usage and updating of Trade Marketing Playbook/Tool Kit

 

Budget Management

  • Ensures budget processes are on track
    • Actual spend is less than or equal to approved budget
    • Monitors and provides monthly/quarterly liquidation of expenses versus budget
  • Negotiates best possible costs in coordination with the Purchasing department
    • Evaluates investment per RBU
    • Manage and provide controls for Trade Marketing materials inventory

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a graduate of Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in any of the following areas:
    • Trade Marketing Manager/Brand Activation Manager (or the equivalent) preferable in a multinational consumer goods company
    • Trade Marketing Manager/Brand Activation Manager (or the equivalent) with specialization in trade marketing/execution function and/or restaurant operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to operate effectively across cultural and functional boundaries.
  • Strong aptitude for risk-taking and moving quickly to drive business growth aggressively in response to change.
  • Adept in Merchandising, Local Store Marketing, Trade Marketing, Activation, Below-The-Line Marketing Activities.
  • Willing to do fieldwork in the following areas: Batangas, Laguna, Cavite, Palawan, Bicol, Quezon.
