Title:  Senior Marketing Manager

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Jollibee brand and the achievement of its long and short-term sales and brand objectives in the assigned market / region. The position generates strategies and partners with Country Marketing in the execution of campaigns that grow market share and raise brand awareness and reputation in the country, improve customer experience, and drive sales growth.

 

MARKETING STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT

  • Market Research: Develops the annual research plan for the market/ region given the business needs, accomplishes the final validation of the research briefs and quality checks the recommended action plans put forward by the country marketing team.
  • Market Adaptation of Global BPRE, Menu Idea and Menu Architecture: Integrates all recommendations and consolidates the country adaptation plan for the BPRE, Menu Idea and Menu Architecture. Directly engages with stakeholders to secure buy-in
  • Market Adaptation of Brand Communication Idea: Integrates all recommendations for the market adaptation of the brand communication plan. Directly engages with stakeholders to secure buy-in
  • Market Adaptation of Brand Communication Idea: Integrates all recommendations for the market adaptation of the brand’s big restaurant idea and restaurant visual assets. Directly engages with stakeholders to secure buy-in.
  • Annual Brand Marketing Plan: Develops a clear and comprehensive annual brand marketing plan based on a rigorous analysis of data. Directly engages all key stakeholders for the necessary buy-in of the plans.
  • New Market Entry Marketing Mix Development: Puts together a clear new market entry marketing mix based on a rigorous analysis of data. Directly engages all key stakeholders for the necessary buy-in of the plans.

 

MARKETING STRATEGY EXECUTION

  • Brand / Business Performance Monitoring: Integrates all key issues and opportunities and resulting recommendations into a clear business case to secure the buy-in of the key stakeholders for the optimization of the plans
  • BMP Execution: Secures buy-in from the key stakeholders for the recommended execution improvements of the BMP. Mobilizes the country teams for the necessary support.
  • Product Development: Develops product concepts aligned with the agreed menu architecture and leads the country product work group in accomplishing the product development projects.
  • IMC Development: Develops and executes the integrated marketing communication plan for all the agreed marketing campaigns in the BMP and leads in the continuous optimization processes.
  • Systemwide Promotion and Local Store Marketing Management: Develops and executes systemwide local store marketing activities specific to a store or a group of stores that build onto the BMP.
  • Brand Financials Management: Forecasts, monitors and manages topline, product gross margins and A&P to achieve the targets of the categories and busines unit.
  • New Market Entry Marketing Mix Execution: Secures buy-in from the key stakeholders for the recommended execution improvements of the new market entry marketing mix and mobilizes the country teams for the necessary support.
  • PR & Crisis Management: Develops insight-based PR and Crisis Management plans that address business, marketing and communication objectives and supports Operations in the roll out of these plans.

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT

  • Develops and initiates capability building programs to improve core competencies of the team.
  • Creates the talent development plans for direct reports based on competency assessments and performance evaluations; does regular coaching, and monitors the achievement of developmental objectives or milestones.
  • Coaching / Training of Direct Reports: Creates individual development plan for direct reports; Ensures and facilitates developmental intervention to improve proficiency or address competency gaps.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Management, or any related course
  • Must have at least 5-7 years of experience in Brand Management, Marketing or Advertising.   
  • Must have Business Orientation knowledge – will be highly involved in data gathering and research activities.
  • Must have Consumer Orientation knowledge – strategic and operational analysis of consumer; conducts research, focus group discussions, strategic thinking on consumer preference, demographics, market targets and others.
  • Must be creative – can provide creative inputs on New Product Development; Product Management; Advertising and Promotions.
  • Must be willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City on a hybrid working set-up (2 days RTO per week)
