Title: Senior Manager, HR Learning and Development
POSITION SUMMARY
The Jollibee Group University Senior Manager provides strategic support to the Jollibee Group University Head in the management of the company’s learning entity, thereby cultivating individual and organizational knowledge and growth. They support the development of the global learning ecosystem and ensure that learning plans and their implementation enable the achievement of business results. They support the formation and development of academies, curricula, instruction, and work closely with the business sponsors, SMEs in support of the organization’s overall talent development strategy.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Participates in the development and implementation of the overall learning strategy and operation

Grows, develops, and expands the JGU learning initiatives and services within the organization

Partners with global and regional stakeholders to drive JGU initiatives and a continuous learning culture within the organization

Monitors the execution of the policies and standards jointly defined and agreed on by the various Academies

Leads the identification, selection, and management of third-party vendors for JGU initiatives to ensure consistent application of the JGU learning strategies and policies

Develops and creates solutions for the different JGU initiatives based on learning data and reports on learning requirements such as those gathered from learning needs analyses, and other data analytics on the effectiveness of and availability of specific learning interventions
Academies:

Works with the Academy Business Sponsors to align each academy’s strategy with the overall learning and development strategy

Partners with the Business Sponsor to build Academy capability; develops, maintains, and enhances the Academy portfolio in consideration of existing and emerging capabilities

Leads the ADDIE process and acts as a consultant /expert for the Academies in partnership with the different Global COEs, regions, and stakeholders (ex. support for yearly learning initiatives for global roll out, program offerings, curriculum and instruction, methods, etc.)

Leads in ensuring that Academy SMEs, trainers, and facilitators champion the learner experience and promote the learning philosophy and other related policies in the areas of curriculum development, program content design, evaluations, and assessment
Curriculum and Instruction:

Defines curriculum framework, design, development and evaluation

Defines policies, process and standards

Leads the execution of the enterprise curricula review
-
Defines and executes content development strategies for multiple modalities, platforms, and different audience types
-
Develops systems, templates, and standards for curricular materials
-
Oversees LMS usage and management in alignment with curricular requirements
-
Participates in the development of annual learning plans and budgets for programs
-
Drives the alignment of curricula among the Academies in partnership with Academy Business Sponsors and the Academy and Program Lead

Develops solutions (e.g., instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, blended, etc.) that provide relevant, challenging, and productive learning experiences

Leads the development of holistic, timely, scalable, and effective curricula for various functions to build current and future capabilities through the following activities:

Assessment of learning needs and gaps in required capabilities/competencies

Research and drafting of learning content
-
Collaboration with SMEs to design and develop accurate, globally consistent training content (e.g. facilitator and learner materials, presentation media, job aids, and knowledge checks)

Evaluates the effectiveness of curricula and improves learning content and methods based on learner data, instructor feedback, and external industry standards

Develops the global development program for internal learning resources (Facilitators, Trainers, and SMEs) and drives its implementation

Introduces and recommends appropriate techniques for training, teaching, and facilitation, as well as the effective use of new or current technologies

Creates high-level instructional practice standards to drive the creation of outcomes-based and objectives-focused learning programs/courseware

Monitors and evaluates the performance of global internal learning resources

Creates and manages a community of practice for internal learning resources and provides a mechanism for best practice sharing

Partners with JWS Learning Services on the database maintenance of internal learning resources
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human resource management or business-related courses
-
Master’s degree in related field, a plus
Experience:
-
10-15 years’ experience in learning and development and corporate universities
-
Experience managing global projects and working across multiple client groups and/or geographies
-
Experience working with executives to influence and drive learning innovation and solutions
-
With strong background in HR business partnering a plus
Competencies:

Expertise in L&D models and frameworks, curriculum design and development, instructional models design and framework, measurement and assessment models

Knowledge in learning technology (LMS, LXPs)

Knowledge in current developments in the space of open content (e.g. OERs)

Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Deep understanding of the different functions and functional relationships
