Title:  Senior Buyer (Food)

The Senior Buyer will handle and contribute to the category sourcing strategies and ensuring alignment with Jollibee Foods Corporation’s (JFC) procurement policies and procedures.  This includes:  

• Identifying stakeholder requirements and execution of category plans  

• Supply base optimization, market knowledge assimilation, analysis and application  

• Managing the supplier lifecycle – accreditation, onboarding, performance and phase out  

• Ensuring local sourcing practices and processes conform to overall procurement policies.  

• Suggesting and working with the procurement leadership team to establish, process improvements, contributing to implementation and adherence on-site.  

• Partnering with Global Procurement teams and internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in relevant field

• For senior buyer: At least 2 years of professional experience and demonstrated knowledge of the food value chain. Preference to have handled food commodities. 

• Prior exposure to category management, procurement or an engineering or operational environment is highly desirable.  

• Demonstrated success in supporting a multi-disciplinary team in a project-led environment. 

• Procurement and supply chain affiliations and/or certifications will be an advantage  

• Amenable to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup)
