Title:  Senior Buyer (Construction)

The Senior Buyer (Construction) will support the category manager by contributing to the category sourcing strategies and ensuring alignment with Jollibee Foods Corporation’s (JFC) procurement policies and procedures.  This includes:

  • Identifying stakeholder requirements and execution of category plans

  • Supply base optimization, market knowledge assimilation, analysis and application

  • Managing the supplier lifecycle – accreditation, onboarding, performance and phase out

  • Ensuring local sourcing practices and processes conform to overall procurement policies.

  • Suggesting and working with the procurement leadership team to establish, process improvements, contributing to implementation and adherence on-site.

  • Partnering with Global Procurement teams and internal stakeholders.

Supply and Risk Management:  deliver a robust, optimized and agile supplier network for current and future JFC requirements.

Cost Leadership: Leadership excellence in cost sprint program globally, spend cost reduction, leveraging digital tools, business partnerships and increasing spend influence and management to maximize savings.

Enhancing Supplier Partnership Model:  Evolve and deploy our supplier engagement model globally, manage supplier partnerships, performance and the supplier lifecycle delivering competitive advantage through leadership on cost, innovation, sustainability and supply resiliency.

Build for Growth: Deploy and embed organizational recommendations, generate stakeholder satisfaction, Improve satisfaction scores across PH

People Leadership: leading a team, as well as managing projects and programs.


Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience: 

  • At least 2 years of professional experience and demonstrated knowledge of the food value chain.

  • Experience in construction procurement is required.

  • Prior exposure to category management, procurement or an engineering or operational environment is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated success in supporting a multi-disciplinary team in a project-led environment.

Training/License/ Certification: Procurement and supply chain affiliations and/or certifications will be an advantage.
