Title:  Programme Manager

A newly created role, working across multiple brands, for a fast-expanding global F&B company. A programme management job for a design-minded individual that can work independently and collaboratively, with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams. Motivated by a passion for teamwork, to manage, guide and coordinate like-minded colleagues. Responsible for brand and design-led initiatives, projects and programmes, we expect the candidate to have a natural curiosity and ability to synthesise and respond to an ever-changing and highly competitive marketplace.

 

A key leadership role, that while goal focused, is also people focused. To bring out the best in individuals through coaching, building relationships and establishing lasting, efficient processes. To empathically guide, through deeply collaborative work, championing business objectives and practices that improve organisational performance across multiple design disciplines. An ability to prioritise, oversee and coordinate multiple projects, programmes and other strategic initiatives throughout the organisation, through direct and indirect influence.

Detailed and Attentive Leadership

  • Assessment, management and creation of planning processes, resources, and risk, ensuring timely delivery and communicate both strategic and financial impact and outcomes of programmes
  • Supervising and coordinating the alignment of activities and deliverables of contributors and stakeholders, both internally and externally involved in the programme
  • Establishing, on-boarding and introduction of new processes and systems to support programme management internally and externally
  • Intervening as needed, according to the brand strategic objectives of the team and organization
  • Ensuring projects are established on financially sound foundations, following company processes and financially managed throughout the process … challenging them as needed

A collaborator, a motivator, and manager of change

  • Creation of new methods and/or evolving existing processes to monitor the progress of the team’s and organisation’s initiatives / projects / programmes in their strategic plans and improving efficiency
  • Preparing reports and updating immediate teams and other stakeholders about the initiatives / projects / programmes
  • Proactively and thoughtfully resolving issues with management and stakeholders, using creative and analytical skills
  • Confirming successful delivery at the programme’s completion through clear and thoughtful analysis and reporting

 

Time, Team, Financial and Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and seek out strong and strategic relationships with team members, vendors and partners to support the initiatives / projects / programs in the organisation’s strategic plans
  • Supervising and coordinating activities of the parties involved in the programme
  • Working with an independent, agile and proactive approach to resolving challenges, anticipate potential conflicts and seizing opportunities to elevate the experience of collaboration in fulfilling programme management goals
  • Develop and / or introduce best practices and ways of working for programme management and flow of communication to maximise efficiency and minimise complexity product, multimedia or communications
    Documented years of experience and / or, Degree / Diploma in business management or business administration, project management, programme management

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of working experience and leadership roles in Design, Brand agency, and / or F&B related industries
  • Proficiency in MS Office programmes
  • Proficiency in project and programme management tools and software – for communication in tracking and reporting, such as Asana, MS Project, Smartsheets
  • Proficiency in English is a requirement – written and verbal
  • Some proficiency in Tagalog, Mandarin and / or Cantonese would be a plus but not a pre-requisite

 

Training/License/ Certification

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications or similar / equivalent certifications
  • Agile or similar project management practices
  • Design thinking practice training and / or certifications – for example IDEOU, LUMA
