Title:  Program Manager (Jollibee Group Foundation)

 

The Program Manager for Innovations and Development, leads the development, design, piloting, and refinement of innovative program models that advance JGF’s work in food security, education, and hunger mitigation. The role translates strategic priorities into practical and scalable interventions, generating evidence and learning to inform program improvement and scale.

 

The role also leads the learning and capacity-building agenda for the Agro-Enterprise Clustering Approach (AECA), developing and strengthening training programs that enable partners to effectively adopt and apply JGF’s approaches, while capturing insights and lessons that inform program improvement and scale.

 

Working collaboratively with the Foundation’s leadership and program teams, the role assesses the effectiveness and readiness of developed solutions for scale and recommends their refinement, integration, or expansion within JGF’s programs.

 

Program Development and Innovation

  • Identify emerging needs and opportunities that can advance JGF's strategic priorities in food security, agriculture, education, and hunger mitigation.
  • Translate strategic priorities into innovative program models by defining objectives, target outcomes, implementation approaches, and measures of success.
  • Lead the development and design of innovative program models in collaboration with relevant teams, partners, technical experts
  • Manage pilots, including testing approaches, success measures, implementation requirements, and documentation of results and learning.
  • Translate results and learning into recommendations for program refinement, scale-up, integration, or discontinuation.

 

Learning and  Capacity Building

  • Lead the development and continuous refinement of learning and capacity-building initiatives that enable partners to adopt and effectively implement JGF program models.
  • Manage the development, testing, and updating of training curricula, tools, and learning materials based on program evidence, partner feedback, and emerging needs.
  • Oversee the delivery and evaluation of capacity-building initiatives, ensuring that learning outcomes and participant application are tracked and documented.
  • Capture and synthesize lessons, good practices, and evidence from program implementation to inform program improvement and scale-up decisions.

 

Partnership Development and Management

  • Identify and develop partnerships with institutions that can provide expertise, resources, networks, or capabilities needed to develop and scale programs and innovations.
  • Establish and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with innovation partners.
  • Ensure all potential partner institutions undergo due diligence in compliance with statutory and internal requirements, and co-develop appropriate risk mitigation measures with the team
  • Represent JGF in relevant sector discussions, forums, and engagements within assigned areas of responsibility.

 

Resource and Grants Stewardship

  • Develop and manage budgets and resource requirements for programs and innovation initiatives, aligned with approved plans and organizational policies.
  • Review and assess partner proposals received relevant to the work of the Foundation and provide recommended actions and execute decisions
  • Coordinate the development and renewal of partnership agreements with relevant internal teams, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and organizational requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure timely fund releases,  grant utilization, and financial performance.

 

Staff Management and Development

  • Assist in attracting, developing, coaching, and retaining high-performance team members, empowering them to elevate their level of responsibility and performance.
  • Ensures the professional development of staff, empowering them to develop and achieve their objectives through appropriate coaching, training and support.
  • Work with staff to develop objective performance measurements across all sites, to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluation and goal setting for all including achievement of both program and individual development goals.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Development Studies, Community Development, Agriculture, or other related fields
  • Must have at least 5 to 8 years of experience in program development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation in a development setting, with a minimum of 2 years of people management experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Familiarity with current and emerging issues, trends, and approaches in Corporate Social Responsibility, corporate philanthropy, community engagement, and sustainable development.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City on a hybrid schedule, with 2 days onsite and 3 days work-from-home, including occasional field assignments.
