Title:  Product Owner

The Product Owner is responsible for representing the needs and priorities of the business and guides the Development Team in building and maximizing high value features and solutions for the business. The position will also be responsible for creating a product or initiative roadmap, defining and writing user stories, guiding UI/UX design, prioritizing, and managing activities to ensure seamless process execution and minimal backlog. Lastly, the position will also support and maintain the conceptual and technical integrity of the high value features and solutions for the business represented.


Key Responsibilities:

Agile Product Ownership and Management

• Develops, owns, and oversees the execution of product roadmap.

• Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, UI/UX, release, plan, dates, and release. Conducts sprint planning and resources estimation for assigned product ownership.

• Reviews solutions design plans created by the Development Team. Recommends enhancements, as needed.

• Prepares, reviews and updates product backlog of priorities and ranked high level features. Manages and makes visible the product backlog on the prioritized list of requirements for future product development.

• Reviews solutions design plans. Proposes and recommends solutions to existing customer problems, if necessary.

• Manages the User Acceptance Test (UAT) Process of assigned product ownership including defining acceptance criteria. Facilitates demonstrations and customer feedback sessions.

• Prepares and communicates key business performance indicators to the Business Unit and/or CBG Council and different functional leaders on a regular basis (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly) to ensure key performance indicators are met.

• Regularly assess product performance to ensure applicability and relevance. Benchmarks planning process best practices within the food service industry and develop strategic improvement plans. Champions key improvement initiatives and change management, as applicable.


Stakeholder Management

• Acts as the Business Unit Representative to the Development Team to ensure that their needs and priorities are considered in building and maximizing high value features and solutions.

• Presents relevant issues that needs stakeholder buy-in or decisions such as sprint, backlog iteration, product timeline and resource planning. Recommends action steps and proactively coordinates with concerned BU and development team to address risk emerging.

• Coordinates with other Agile Team Leaders. Works closely with Cross-Functional Team in planning product release and correct customer concerns are addressed.

• Communicates with the cross-functional leaders/teams on the agreed action plans, defines clear accountability of the action plans and ensures that issues are closed within the agreed timeline.

• Proactively provides timely status updates to business leaders and relevant stakeholders.


People Development and Engagement

• Champions and drives the change management in the education and training in the implementation of assigned product ownership.

• Creates talent development plans based on competency assessments and performance evaluations; implements L&D and coaching plans and monitors the achievement of developmental objectives or milestones.

• Cultivates the talent pipeline by identifying key talents and developing career plans for those identified as such.


Job Qualification:

• Graduate of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related 4-year course.

• With at least 8-10 years of experience handling user experience, product management/ ownership in digital/technology firm. Experience in the food industry is an advantage.

• Certificate SCRUM Product Owner (CSPO)/SAFe Product Owner/Project Manager (POPM).

• Demonstrated ability to integrate data across multiple functions and conduct analysis to generate insight and recommendations.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively and positively influence at all levels.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication, and presentation skills.

• Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and internal customers.

Willing to work on a Hybrid Work Setup.
