Title:  Procurement Manager (Meat)

The Procurement Manager will support the creation and implementation of business-wide category strategies that deliver value to the organization in alignment with Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) overall business strategy.  This includes:

  • Providing strategic input into category management framework and approaches

  • Developing and project-managing the execution of category strategies

  • Partnering with Global Procurement teams and executive teams of internal stakeholders

 

The role will be seen as a subject matter expert of the category group and the ability to gain credibility with internal stakeholders and persuade people to change and/or adhere to a certain strategic direction is essential. An in-depth understanding of the supply market for each category, and the ability to determine opportunities for cost reduction and supplier enhancement is critical.

  • Supply and Risk Management:  deliver a robust, optimized and agile supplier network for current and future JFC requirements.

  • Cost Leadership: spend cost reduction, leveraging digital tools, business partnerships and increasing spend influence and management to maximize savings.

  • Supplier Relationship Management:  manage supplier partnerships, performance and the supplier lifecycle delivering competitive advantage through leadership on cost, innovation, sustainability and supply resiliency.

  • People Leadership: leading a team, as well as managing projects and programs.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Engineering, Finance, Economics, or any Business Courses.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of food-related category, preferably with beef and pork.
  • Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain is an advantage.
  • Competent in Supply Management, Supplier Management, Cost Management, Negotiation, Risk Management, and Stakeholder Relationship Management.
  • Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig (hybrid set-up).
