Title:  Process Improvement Manager (POS)

This Process Improvement Manager (POS) will lead strategic initiatives to optimize sales processes, enhance digital sales systems, and develop POS front-of-house solutions across all stores. Leveraging expertise in business analysis and process engineering, the role will drive efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring compliance with regulations and data security standards. This function involves spearheading system development, executing POS launches, and mitigating risks to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

  • Sales Management
    • Lead the development and refinement of the restaurant sales management process, serving as the subject matter expert and author of best practices.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with operations and main office stakeholders to ensure alignment of processes with organizational objectives and customer needs.
    • Conduct in-depth environmental scanning to identify emerging technologies, trends and opportunities to improve sales management.
  • Digital Sales and Payment Systems
    • Drive the development and implementation of innovative digital sales channels and payment systems to support operations
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and data security standards in all digital transactions.
    • Continuously evaluate and optimize digital platforms and POS integration to enhance user experience and support sales initiatives.
  • Order, Pay and Promotions Solutions
    • Spearhead the enhancement of POS front-of-house systems to streamline operations and improve store employee experience, contributing to efficiency and incremental business opportunity across channels and touchpoints in delivery, dine-in, takeout, drive-through, and party/bulk orders.
    • Implement user-friendly interfaces tailored to each service scope, providing roll-out cascade and training team alignment to maximize usability and efficiency in supporting sales processes.
    • Ensure seamless integration of POS solutions with sales strategies and objectives to maximize effectiveness.
    • Strategically plan and execute POS launches for new products, promotions, and key accounts to drive sales growth.
    • Conduct environmental scanning to identify market trends and emerging technologies to inform system solutions and process improvement initiatives.
    • Implement rigorous change management processes to facilitate smooth adoption of new POS launches.
    • Identify and mitigate process risks associated with POS launches to minimize disruptions and ensure successful implementation
    • Ensure POS systems are compliant with tax regulations and internal controls for accounting and data security while catering to rapidly changing business needs
  • POS Master Data Management
    • Lead the strategic oversight of POS product master data, ensuring seamless translation, coherence with business requirements, and compliance with internal controls.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product databases into POS buttons and ensure consistency and coherence of punching and order taking.
  • Systems and Solutions Development Life Cycle
    • Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of processes, systems, and solutions aimed at supporting ROS and POS scope.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase operations efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Implement robust change management processes to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new systems and processes.
    • Proactively mitigate process risks through thorough analysis and implementation of controls.
    • Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to integrate cutting-edge technologies and enhance operational support for sales initiatives

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a graduate of Preferably Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or any related program or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Restaurant Industry or Retail Operations.
  • Knowledgeable in food service operations with managerial experience.
  • Expertise in:
    • Project management
    • Layout and facilities design
    • Production and service process design
    • Food safety and store capacity analysis
    • Process engineering techniques (MTS, ABC, Simulation, Needs Analysis)Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig (hybrid working set-up).
