Title: Process Improvement Manager (EMEAA)
The Process Improvement Manager for EMEAA is responsible for the integration and/or development of required processes that deliver effective systems in store management. He/She provides innovative solutions by adapting new and better technology to achieve a higher level of systems excellence, store efficiency, and new store models.
The role is expected to conduct checking and alignment of all RS projects/initiatives with the business results of EMEAA market(s). This role also requires strong partnership with cross-functional groups, strong communication, and influencing skills to drive and complete projects and deliver the objectives.
Process Improvements/Innovations
• Leads in developing continuous improvement programs of both new and existing store service systems, kitchen equipment and facilities, tools, and processes through store visits/contextual interviews, systems data validation, feedback systems, and competitive checks/analysis, which will result in operating cost improvements.
• Evaluates technology solutions that can bring significant and cost-effective process improvements.
• Effectively manages key projects by following project management processes from exploration to post-evaluation, being able to work with a team or work groups and demonstrating effective communication and integration skills for each of the project assignments.
• Reviews and endorses project proposals for final approval of the Country Team and Market Head to ensure accuracy of information, financial feasibility, capacity fit, and alignment to the organization’s business directions.
• Plans and develops short-term and long-term programs to improve overall store processes in all channels, counter, and dining areas.
• Integrates, synthesizes, and endorses recommended improvements on standards, policies, and guidelines of all facets of production and service processes and systems that affect overall speed and quality of service to customers (queuing and attending time, order taking, cashiering and assembly time, FST, and TAT).
• Validates the impact of customer flow and production capability on the accomplishment of speed-of-service targets and leads in creating action plans to resolve concerns.
• Reviews and endorses standard operating procedures for counter, dining, and take-out counter personnel, dining and other transaction types, which will ensure customer satisfaction.
• Approves implementation guidelines of production and service systems developed to include layouts, drawings and specifications, operating procedures, and manpower positioning.
• Measures the performance of each RS initiative via appropriate metrics or dashboards, analyzes data, and develops action plans.
Restaurant Model Development
• Leads in developing restaurant models for existing and new markets based on EMEAA or Country BPRE.
• Integrates specific country requirements/regulations into the Jollibee restaurant standards.
• Develops restaurant capacity plans in terms of equipment, workstations, counters and dining requirements, kitchen information systems, and manpower.
• Iterates restaurant models and recommends the most feasible model for the country.
• Spearheads coordination with other Restaurant Systems departments and outside partners to develop and deliver any new requirement for the restaurant model.
• Facilitates stakeholders’ training for new restaurant models and new processes prior to launch.
• Measures the success criteria of a new store model via appropriate metrics or dashboards, analyzes data, and develops action plans.
Business Channels Process Development
•Develops systems and processes related to new business channels required by the country or market.
• Integrates Jollibee processes and service standards into new business channels.
• Evaluates the impact on the current capacity and set-up of the restaurant and develops action plans to seamlessly implement the business channel.
• Facilitates stakeholders’ training for the new systems and processes of the business channel prior to launch.
• Measures the success criteria via appropriate metrics or dashboards, analyzes data, and develops action plans.
Program Development and Management
• Leads the development of programs related to productivity, efficiency, Gold Standard consistency, and others to drive better NOI and customer satisfaction.
• Spearheads coordination with other support groups and business partners to evaluate the current state, develop action plans, and create a glide path for implementation.
• Leads cross-functional teams in implementing the plans and program initiatives to drive and deliver agreed business results.
• Measures the success criteria via appropriate metrics or dashboards, analyzes data, and develops action plans.
Account Management
• Effectively manages the requirements of a specific market and leads in the delivery of these requirements, clearly identifying service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Proactively facilitates a healthy and effective feedback culture for a specific market and cross-functional teams.
• Spearheads collaboration with Jollibee Philippines and other SBU RS groups to source and evaluate available solutions to address the requirements of a specific market.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- Postgraduate studies in Engineering or Business Management preferred.
- At least 6 years relevant work experience in food service operations, QSR.; at least 3 years in supervisory capacity.
- Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup).
