Title:  Payroll Accountant

The Payroll Accountant for International Payroll and Accounting for Singapore is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for our Singapore-based employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

This role oversees employee time attendance validation, payroll journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations, with a strong emphasis on mitigating risks associated with late payroll, inaccurate timekeeping, and posting errors. Inaccurate payroll processing, late submissions, or incorrect journal postings may result in financial penalties, employee dissatisfaction, and audit findings. This role is critical to maintaining compliance and trust 

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations (CPF, IRAS, SDL) and collaborate closely with HR and Finance to maintain seamless payroll operations. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Oversee employee time attendance validation.
  • Prepare payroll journal entries.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Mitigate risks related to:
    • Late payroll submissions.
    • Inaccurate timekeeping.
    • Posting errors.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, experience in payroll/accounting is an advantage.
  • Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City on a hybrid working set-up  (2 days, 3 days work-from-home/week).
