Title: Officer, BT Store Solutions and Support
The POS Architect is responsible for:
- Lead the solution design, enhancement, validation, troubleshooting, and resolution of store systems and related business applications.
- Plan, develop, and implement system upgrades and enhancements, including defining roadmaps, release strategies, and deployment schedules aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver complex technology initiatives and ensure seamless implementation.
- Manage and coordinate with technology vendors and service providers to guarantee timely issue resolution, service quality, and adherence to agreed service levels.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of store technology projects—from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, deployment, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Safeguard the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of store sales and transaction data, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Provide technical expertise in system integrations, APIs, and middleware tools to enable connectivity between POS and other enterprise platforms.
- Maintain, update, and continuously improve technical documentation, operational processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to recommend enhancements to store technology platforms.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business language for non-technical stakeholders.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any related field.
- 3-5 Years of experience in customer service and account management, successfully leading end-to-end Technical Project Implementations—from Discovery, Design, Development, Testing, Production Deployment, through the Stabilization period.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with POS systems and/or IT support in QSR or retail environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to large-scale, complex, or matrixed IT project teams, ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Solid understanding of APIs and database fundamentals.
- Proven experience in developing system enhancement plans, including upgrade roadmaps and deployment schedules for retail technologies.
- Strong background in vendor and stakeholder management, driving alignment and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Hands-on working knowledge of APIs, integrations, and related tools is highly advantageous.
- Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup).
