Title: Learning and Development Officer
The Learning & Development Officer is responsible for the implementation of the learning interventions within the assigned unit. The role ensures that learning interventions are designed according to the specific requirements of the individual learners within the assigned unit (whether by level, program type, function, or combination), thereby facilitating the development of the employees and their ability to contribute to the unit’s results.
- Identifies learning and capability requirements of assigned unit(s) in line with organizational objectives and short- to medium-term workforce needs.
- Conducts learning needs analysis (LNA) following Global L&D guidelines and share insights with Regional L&D.
- Prepares and recommends annual learning plans, calendars, and budgets for assigned unit(s), programs, or employee levels.
- Customizes learning plans and interventions based on individual and group development needs, using curricula from Global and/or Regional L&D.
- Partners closely with HR Business Partners to ensure learning solutions are relevant and business‑driven.
- Designs learning interventions aligned with global L&D policies, standards, and methodologies.
- Collaborates with Global L&D and key stakeholders in delivering learning interventions.
- Sets delivery standards and supports certification of Learning Services partners.
- Creates a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that reflects company values and the learning brand.
Job Qualifications:
- A graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business, or a related field.
- With at least three (3) years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or HR roles with strong learning exposure.
- With experience in curriculum development, learning needs analysis, program design, training delivery, and evaluation.
- Strong project management, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, fast‑paced environment.
- Experience working with shared services or external learning partners is an advantage.
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid setup in Ortigas, Pasig.
