Title:  Learning and Development Officer

Position Summary

The Learning and Development Officer is focused on increasing the level of relevant skills and knowledge within the organization’s workforce through the provision of training and learning support to staff and managers. It requires an organized yet innovative approach to training and development.

 

Key Functions: Organization Diagnosis/Development, Learning Needs Analysis, Learning Design and Development, Training Delivery, Process Management, Change Management, HR Analytics, Project Management.

Responsibilities:

 Learning Development

  • Develops learning and development programs based on HR direction and business

  • mandate which is generally done in partnership with the talent management unit

  • Reviews and updates existing programs based on new business objectives organizational changes.

  • Implements correct program execution of HR business partners to their accounts

  • Recommends improvements on the existing programs based on the analysis from the learning and development programs' consolidated feedback and the talent management review

  • Develops program module content and identifies appropriate training medium to achieve efficient and effective learning for the end user

 Vendor and Faculty Management

  • Guides the training provider selection process by doing a comparative analysis among the possible providers and giving the best recommendation

 Others

  • Performs other jobs, tasks, or expertise-related assignments to develop one’s self and/or share one’s expertise to support the division/department’s mandate or the organization’s objectives.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management or related courses.

  • At least 3-4 years of full-time experience in Human Resources with a background in curriculum design and delivery, as well as experience working across multiple client groups and/or geographies.

  • Excellent project management and planning skills.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Expertise in learning curriculum, instructional design, and evaluation of learning interventions.

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in program design and evaluation.

  • Proficient in a variety of multimedia, digital training platforms, and methods.

  • Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup)
