Title:  Organizational Development Manager

The Organizational Development Manager works with key stakeholders to manage HR functions for the different departments. Specifically, this covers the implementation of employee policies within the PSU (Professional Services Unit) to make sure that all facets of people management are properly attended to.

 

Headcount Management

  • Maps out the PSU headcount on an annual basis.
  • Coordinates with different departments on allotment of additional headcount based on PSU’s priorities and needs.

 

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Ensures that all vacant positions within the RBU are filled-up on time with qualified people.
  • Coordinates with respective PSU counterparts to identify openings & vacancies in the PSU
  • Coordinates with JWS-Staffing  and external recruiters to source candidates for PSU positions
  • Conducts preliminary interviews for prospective hires. Coordinates succeeding interviews/screenings with the respective departments.
  • Coordinates with Corporate C&B on compensation packages and job offers for prospective hires.
  • Ensures that all new hires undergo the New Employee Orientation Program (NEOP) upon onboarding.

 

Employee Movement & Organizational Structure

  • Receives memo from different departments and processes promotion and transfer of PSU employees.
  • Conducts Job Evaluation of employees for potential upgrade/movement in roles.
  • Supports PSU departments during restructuring and reassignment of roles as needed. 

 

Employee Relations

  • Ensures that all new employees are oriented on the company’s Code of Discipline, house rules and other personnel policies. Ensures continuous orientation and reorientation of the PSU on all HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates with different PSU employees to facilitate due process in the resolution of disciplinary cases as needed. Coordinates with the employee’s immediate superior for actions to be taken.

 

Employee Engagement

  • Conceptualizes and implements incentive programs and other motivational programs to maintain high employee morale, motivation and productivity level.
  • Implements employee related events and activities.
  • PSU teaming sessions

 

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensures that all PSU departments follow specific guidelines as mandated by Philippine law. Coordinates with different departments to ensure proper implementation of the law and all related policies.
  • Orients PSU managers and leaders on new regulations, laws and processes as needed.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Human Resources, Psychology, any other related course.
  • Must have at least 5 years experience in a similar function as an HR business partner.
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidates must be willing to accept an initial assignment at Ortigas, with a planned transfer to Sucat after one year. (Both locations operate under a hybrid work setup)
