Title: Global Tax Director
The Global Tax Director is responsible for the overall tax management of the Jollibee Group of Companies and its domestic and foreign subsidiaries.

POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze and recommend advisable courses of action on complex tax issues, including customs valuation for local and international tax areas.
- Handle day-to-day interaction with audit agents and prepare documentation and opinions to support tax return positions.
- Serve as primary interface with the Accounting Shared Services organization.
- Review the quarterly income tax returns of the Jollibee Group.
- Manage system requirements for filing returns and handling tax audits.
- Provide technical tax advice to Shared Services and non-tax functions on complex, day-to-day operational issues.
- Review tax and customs laws to evaluate impacts on the Jollibee Group and prepare documentation for management approval.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of all income tax returns; determine tax requirements and manage validation and interpretation of financial data in accordance with relevant tax laws.
- Negotiate and resolve tax audit issues and assessments with government agencies (BIR, BOC, etc.), as directed by management.
- Lead overall tax planning activities for the Jollibee Group.
- Prepare internal tax memoranda, protest letters, BIR ruling requests, and legal briefs related to complex tax issues.
- Maintain and improve tax reporting procedures to ensure consistent compliance across the organization.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Lawyer
- At least eight (8) to ten (10) years of tax practice with accounting/tax firms, with at least five (5) years of corporate/multinational tax experience
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and regulations
- Basic working knowledge of tax laws in China, US, Vietnam, and Singapore
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and major ERP systems such as SAP
