Title: Financial Reporting Specialist
JFC’s Financial Reporting Specialist is responsible for the following:
Management Report
- Collate and update data for assigned SBU accounts.
- Generate, validate, and analyze Trial Balances.
- Reconcile and validate consolidated reports.
- Prepare and submit monthly consolidated reports.
- Review and report balances between TB and MR.
- Summarize significant transactions and validate analytics.
- Answer queries and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Collaborate with other functional teams for detailed reporting.
Statutory Reporting
- Prepare and review schedules for statutory reporting.
- Submit required notes for statutory submission.
- Coordinate with External Auditors for reports and requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and lead closure of management letter items.
Balance Sheet Account Management
- Analyze balance sheet GL accounts.
- Review and update assigned BS accounts.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze entries for accruals and adjustments.
- Monitor BS accounts and propose financial adjustments.
Internal & External Audit
- Respond to audit findings and drive resolution.
- Prepare and submit documents and reports for audits.
- Lead audit activities for interim and year-end.
Organizational Excellence
- Prepare and discuss SLA results.
- Review and propose corrective actions for account and report assignments.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for SLA improvement.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferably a graduate of BS Accountancy but open to any finance - related courses.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in Management and Financial Reporting or any related accounting field.
- Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig (hybrid set-up).
