Title:  Financial Planning & Analysis Officer (Pasig)

The Financial Planning & Analysis Officer will work with the FP&A Manager in coordinating, consolidating, planning and analysis of the five-year strategic plan, annual budget/ target, monthly outlook, and monthly financial performance of the company. This role will conduct special financial studies related to new business, product initiatives, and scenario analysis as well as ensure accurate and timely preparation of essential financial reports and contribute to process improvements to enhance business-as-usual operations.

 

  • Leads preparation and cascade of finance calendar including corporate initiatives with other departments to ensure alignment on assumptions, requirements, and timelines.
  • Consolidates inputs from other departments to build financial reporting packages including, but not limited to:
    • (a) five-year strategic plan
    • (b) annual budget/ target
    • (c) monthly outlook
    • (d) monthly financial performance
    • (e) key metrics,
  • Evaluates reasonableness of financial results with business objectives, and challenge its reasonableness through key metrics assessment and financial analysis (e.g. trend, variance analysis against prior year, outlook, budget, and target, etc.).
  • Establishes sound assumptions in financial planning, analysis, and reports, and recommend change when needed to support the company in achieving its business objectives.
  • Supports other departments with analysis in identifying opportunities for improvement and in building mitigation strategies for any risk in the financial plans.
  • Develops templates for financial reporting, analysis, and modelling.
  • Identifies process improvements and reports enhancements.
  • Implements business intelligence tool to support effective and efficient financial management.

 

Job Qualifications:

 

  • A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting and/or in an auditing firm.
  • Preferably, a Certified Public Accountant or holder of equivalent certifications (e.g., CMA, CFA).
  • Proven capability to build and manage large databases for scenario planning, data analysis, and reporting and process improvement.
  • Must possess strong critical and analytical mindset, highly organized, and with advance skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willing to work on a hybrid set-up in Ortigas, Pasig.
