Title: Finance Specialist
The Finance Specialist handles two districts in the RBU. He/she effectively provides financial advisory & control services in making sound financial decisions to grow the districts' revenues, manage profit, gain efficiencies, enhance processes, implement policies and achieve over-all business objectives. The position also plays a critical role in implementing the financial strategies of the two districts. He/she ensures that effective business controls are in place.
Profit Management & Strategies
- Provides 5-year financial plan for the two districts, aligned with the 5-year financial plan of the RBU.
- Leads and provides districts' financial budget and administrative cost.
- Interprets actual profit performance against the annual budget.
- Evaluates all aspects of financial analysis affecting district profit. Leads initiatives to identify key issues impacting the districts' business.
- Recommends opportunities for profit maximization and profit sustainability of the district.
- Provides and evaluates districts' restaurant forecast.
- Analyzes the monthly administrative cost of the two districts.
- Provide the Districts' Gross Profit Plan anchored to the SBU/RBU/District initiated programs.
Management Reporting & Analysis
- Provides and interprets integrated, timely, flexible and relevant financial / non-financial information and analysis to enhance the company's competitiveness and shareholder value.
- Implements progressive change in financial and management reporting.
- Regularly provides management reports and analysis to the Regional Business Unit Senior Finance Manager and Operations Director.
- Conducts financial performance presentation during District Team Meeting (DTM). Provide data insights to the two districts to maximize profit.
Financial Advisory Services
- Supervises the financial operations of the two districts.
- Implements streamlined financial activities that will ensure smooth and efficient operation for the two districts.
- Optimizes the financial decision-making process by utilization of key financial measures and indicators.
- Evaluates the short-term and long-term network plan of the two districts that will impact the financial viability and sustainability of the two districts. Included but not limited to, a) review of the financial analysis (FA) of new stores and renovated stores, b) acquisitions, c) divestments and d) closures.
Financial Governance
- Interprets and ensures the compliance to company's policies and guidelines.
- Interface with corporate group on restaurant related requirements. Ensures compliance with regulatory, standards and legal requirements.
- Provides recommendations to improve efficiency and optimize company resources.
- Train internal and external clients.
- Ensures that all Company-Owned restaurants are covered by insurance.
Financial Information Management
- Manage financial information resources to ensure ready access to information by stakeholders.
- Translate into meaningful information by way of charts and different analytic tools to spot trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Management Science and Engineering or related courses.
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in finance.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City (hybrid set-up).
