Title:  Finance Manager

The Financial Manager performs financial analysis and advisory, financial outlook planning, financial management and reporting, and evaluates and updates control procedures relevant to Supply Chain Operations and Functions.

 

  • Oversees daily transactions of SIAT, CAPEX and the inventory team.
  • Leads process improvement of SIAT, CAPEX and the inventory team.
  • Tracks the progress of Strategic projects for SIAT IM and CAPEX
  • Strategizes for inventory count activities and resolution of variances.
  • Monitors resolution of all outstanding balances, especially overage accounts, and designs various collection options to negotiate collections following the policy.
  • Ensures required financial reports are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Participates in regular tax audits and external audits.
  • Concludes, and recommends resolution to issues arising from the month-end closing.
  • Reviews, aligns, and collaborates on assumptions and financial target commitments with project owners.
  • Drives post-review of projects implemented to track actual financial performance versus projections made.
  • Prepares the business budget as aligned with the business unit client's key numbers based on sound assumptions and trends.
  • Directs and drives CAPEX policy, controls, and processes for manufacturing and logistics operations and support functions.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or has taken up ladderized programs /education.
  • With at least (5) years of work experience in Inventory/Asset in a supervisory or managerial accounting role.
  • Preferably, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent certification programs (CMA, CFA, CCSA).
  • Possess proficiency in MS Office (Excel), and SAP systems.
  • Possess a good command of the English language, can communicate well with both internal and external clients.
  • Must have thorough technical analysis, evaluation skills, and innovative skills.
  • Must have a great sense of responsibility and accountability with solid knowledge in bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Must be amenable to work on a hybrid setup in Ortigas, Pasig.
