Title:  Environment & Safety Specialist

The Environment & Safety Specialist will be responsible for the following:

• Serves as the subject matter expert in the regional business unit (RBU) in providing technical guidance to the brands on compliance to environment-related laws and regulations.
• Monitor the compliance of the store on internal and external environmental laws and regulations.
• Audit the performance of the store in environmental metrics, identify gaps and collaborate with other stakeholders for rectifications and measures to address the identified issues in a store and further drive the environmental compliance.
• Collect and handle the pertinent environmental management data for the assigned RBU.
• Lead the project management of environmental solutions initiatives to the store network.
• Manages the performance of 3P contractors and vendors offering services on waste / hazardous waste / wastewater management.
• Update manuals on environmental management.
• Support various sustainability initiatives of the company.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders in verifying pertinent information and opportunities to improve the environmental performance of the store network.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of any Engineering or Environmental Science courses.
• At least 2-3 years work experience in pollution control management preferably in the water or food industry.
• PRC License, if graduate of Engineering course With training as Pollution Control Officer (PCO).
• Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City (hybrid set-up).
