Title: Engineer, Site Investigation
The Site Investigation Engineer is responsible for assessing the technical feasibility of potential store sites through site inspections, evaluation of technical reports, identification of risks, and preparation of comprehensive SI reports. The role ensures accuracy of technical information and provides stakeholders with clear recommendations before acquisition and planning.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Assessment & Compliance
- Review technical reports (Site Investigation, Relocation Survey, Topographic Survey, etc.) to assess completeness, risks, and feasibility.
- Prepare evaluation reports with risk assessments and recommendations for acquisition and planning.
- Conduct ocular inspections to validate site conditions, hazards, and technical risks.
- Ensure all technical compliance requirements are met prior to final planning.
Risk Identification & Cost Analysis
- Identify existing and potential technical risks affecting site feasibility.
- Provide technical recommendations and mitigation strategies for identified risks.
- Obtain cost estimates for recommended technical solutions to guide business and technical decision-making.
Reporting & Stakeholder Support
- Deliver clear, accurate, and actionable technical assessment and due-diligence reports.
- Present findings, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Communicate through reports, presentations, and meetings to ensure alignment and informed decisions.
Management of Third-Party Consultants
- Ensure consultants submit timely, accurate, and high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor and manage consultant contracts, budgets, and scope of work.
- Conduct performance evaluations and drive continuous improvement in consultant outputs.
Job Qualifications
- Must be a Bachelor’s degree holder in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- Must be a licensed Civil Engineer or Architect.
- With at least 5 years of experience in engineering technical due diligence, feasibility studies, or asset condition assessments (experience in the restaurant industry is a plus).
- Amendable to work in Ortigas, Pasig City on a hybrid working setup with scheduled site visits and ocular inspections within and outside Metro Manila.
