Title:  Demand Planning Officer

 

The Demand Planning Officer will be responsible for conducting processes in developing demand plans based on seasonal demand patterns, marketing intelligence, and forecast building blocks. The demand team will be heavily involved in BU sign-off processes with Sales Operations, Finance, and Marketing to achieve data-driven consensus planning on sales and store pull-out projections.

 

  • Develops, maintains, and improves demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation using statistical models, market insights, and business intelligence.

  • Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to gather relevant inputs for demand planning.

  • Leads the monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) cycle, ensuring alignment between demand and supply.

  • Monitors forecast accuracy, track KPIs, and continuously refine forecasting methods and tools.

  • Identifies risks and opportunities in the forecast and recommend mitigation or improvement strategies.

  • Analyzes market trends, seasonality, promotional plans, and product lifecycle information to enhance forecast reliability.

  • Coordinates with inventory and supply planning teams to support production and procurement decisions.

  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives in forecasting tools, processes, and reporting.

  • Prepares and presents forecast insights, gap analysis, and recommendations to senior management.

  • Supports new product introductions and product phase-outs with accurate demand projections.

 

Job Qualifications:

 

  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics, Business Administration Management, Industrial Engineering or Management Engineering.

  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, forecast accuracy analysis, and sales & operations planning.

  • Must have knowledge in risk management and project management with strong analytical and presentation skills.

  • Must possess advanced skills in Excel and other statistical data tools.

  • Must be willing to do field work and be assigned at Ortigas, Pasig.
