Title: Demand Planning Officer
The Demand Planning Officer will be responsible for conducting processes in developing demand plans based on seasonal demand patterns, marketing intelligence, and forecast building blocks. The demand team will be heavily involved in BU sign-off processes with Sales Operations, Finance, and Marketing to achieve data-driven consensus planning on sales and store pull-out projections.
- Identifies, Measures, and documents historical sales outliers driven by non-recurring sales activities and events.
- Established and maintains ADQ statistical baseline forecast per business unit product in the demand planning system (Anaplan).
- Communicates statistical product forecast changes to business unit marketing team in demand reviews.
- Consolidates business unit sales building activities and new product initiatives as forecast assumptions in the demand planning system.
- Validates critical forecast assumptions from marketing intelligence and operations' plans and commitment using historical sales performance.
- Aligns product forecast to business unit marketing calendar as well as business unit product growth strategy assumptions.
- Utilizes the demand planning system to generate store pull-out projections per SKU per week per depot.
- Generates and analyzes WAPE/Bias reports to identify key forecast error drivers.
Job Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics, Business Administration Management, Industrial Engineering or Management Engineering.
- Must have at least two (2) years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, forecast accuracy analysis, and sales & operations planning.
- Must have knowledge in risk Management and project management with strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Must possess advanced skills in Excel and other statistical data tools.
- Must be willing to do field work and be assigned at Ortigas, Pasig.
