Title:  Data Analytics Manager (Audit)

The Data Analytics Manager (Audit) is responsible for overseeing the entire system development lifecycle in various automation projects, mentoring the team in building high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions and driving data-driven decision-making within Internal Audit.

 

Project Leadership and Execution

  • Lead and manage the audit process automation and data analytics team.
  • Develop and implement analytics strategies.
  • Oversee script reviews and enforce standards.
  • Drive data governance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with BT teams for optimized data infrastructure.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.

 

Technical Strategy and Innovation

  • Adopt best practices in architecture, design, and scripting.
  • Lead continuous improvement of methodologies.
  • Advocate for new technologies and industry trends.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making.

 

Team Development and Mentorship

  • Mentor and guide team members.
  • Identify skills gaps and organize training sessions.
  • Monitor staff performance and administer discipline as necessary.

 

Communication and Collaboration

  • Act as primary contact between the team and stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Define project requirements and build dashboards and reports.
  • Communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a graduate of Computer Science, Engineering, Accountancy, Auditing or other related courses.
    • A master’s degree in this field is an advantage.
    • Certifications on Data Analytics/Science, Software Development, Scrum or Agile Project Management is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in audit process automation, continuous auditing, software development and data analytics with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of data analytics and programming languages (e.g. ACL, Python, SQL, etc.), design patterns.
