Title: Corporate Planning Officer
The role involves supporting the Corporate Planning Senior Manager in financial systems, management reporting analysis, monthly financial forecasting, market, economic, and business intelligence, and annual strategic planning.
Key tasks include project management, developing training materials, reviewing and analyzing monthly management reports, coordinating financial forecasts, tracking industry trends, and assisting in long-range planning.
Work closely and support the Corporate Planning Senior Manager in fulfilling the following functions:
- Financial Systems
- Management Reporting (MR) Analysis
- Monthly Financial Forecast
- Market, Economic and Business Intelligence
- Annual Strategic Planning
Financial Systems
- Support for Project Management and Execution
- Development of Training and Adoption materials
- Preparation for Longer-term Support
Management Report (MR) Analysis
- Review and analyze the monthly Management Report (MR) of SBUs
- Update of MR structure and definition as applicable
- Support the maintenance of MR database for future reference
- Provide MR Analysis and monthly commentaries on Regional and SBU performance
Monthly Financial Forecast
- Coordinate with SBUs on the outlook submission
- Review and analyze the outlook numbers submitted individually and in overall, input for Results-driven Business Partnering
- Do scenario planning as required
Market, Economic and Business Intelligence
- Track competitive food service and restaurant trends and developments that may impact current and future business of JFC
- Share competitive insights, establish community for gathering and consolidating competitive information
- Access to Industry, Financial Market and Economic Research
- Document work process on Quarterly Competitive Analysis Report
- Understand macro-economic landscape and provides forecast on macro-economic factors for outlook and LRP purposes
Annual Strategic Planning
Support the Corporate Planning Team in the annual LRP Planning:
- Coordinate and assist SBUs in arriving and finalizing the LRP
- Review and analyze the consolidated Long Range/ Strategic Plan
- Update and finalize the Annual Targets
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of any 4-year finance or business-related course.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, focused on financial systems with mastery in Anaplan.
Working arrangement: Amenable to work in a hybrid working set-up in Jollibee Plaza (Ortigas, Pasig City)
