Business Process Officer
The role of the Business Process Officer is to ensure the consistent, disciplined, and high-quality execution of Marketing Excellence across the Strategy House pillars:
- Product / Menu Excellence
- Performance Excellence
- Process Excellence
The role serves as the process steward and enabler for marketing-related workflows—ensuring that teams, partners, and stakeholders operate with clarity, governance, speed, and excellence.
This position is responsible for:
- Designing, managing, and improving marketing-related processes and sub-processes
- Enabling commercial effectiveness through structured workflows, resource (budget) discipline, and development governance
- Supporting people capability, engagement, and adoption of ways of working
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
A. BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT (CORE ACCOUNTABILITY)
1. Process Design, Documentation & Governance
- Own, maintain, and continuously improve Marketing Excellence processes and sub-processes, including but not limited to:
- Concept-to-Post Launch (NPD)
- Campaign-to-Review (IMC)
- PB / ICC / PWG governance routines
- Marketing Calendar-to-Forecast
- Research and Development workflows
- Translate ways of working into clear SOPs, flowcharts, checklists, templates, and trackers.
- Ensure version control, documentation hygiene, and accessibility of all process materials.
- Conduct periodic governance reviews to ensure adherence and identify gaps.
2. Process Alignment & Integration
- Work closely with the cross-functional groups to align marketing processes with enterprise frameworks.
- Integrate approved enterprise process improvements into Marketing Excellence workflows.
- Coordinate with global or regional process POCs to ensure alignment of established processes with global and regional standards
B. COMMERCIAL ENABLEMENT
1. Resource & Budget Management Support
- Support A&P planning, development-related budget tracking, and resource assumption documentation.
- Maintain budget utilization logs (planned vs actuals) for campaigns, product development, and production activities.
- Support Finance, Accounting, Audit and Procurement alignment through timely documentation, variance tracking, and accrual support.
- Ensure budget discipline is embedded within campaign and development processes.
2. Development & Execution Enablement
- Support end-to-end development workflows for NPD and IMC initiatives.
- Manage process steps related to creative development, revision cycles, approvals, and hand-offs.
- Ensure SLAs, governance gates, and timelines are followed by internal teams and external partners.
- Enable smoother execution by reducing rework, ambiguity, and process bottlenecks.
C. PRODUCT / MENU EXCELLENCE ENABLEMENT
- Manage NPD pipeline tracking, milestones, and governance documentation.
- Consolidate and manage performance dashboards and reports (weekly, monthly, YTD).
- Support sensory evaluation documentation and development learnings.
- Ensure product briefs, success criteria, and post-launch reviews are complete and aligned.
- Coordinate documentation and timelines with suppliers, culinary partners, and research agencies.
D. PERFORMANCE EXCELLENCE ENABLEMENT
- Support insight generation and documentation for governance forums.
- Ensure performance learnings are captured and integrated into future planning.
- Maintain repositories for performance insights and post-implementation reviews.
E. PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT & ENGAGEMENT
1. Capability Enablement
- Support onboarding of new team members on Marketing Excellence processes and governance.
- Develop and maintain learning materials, playbooks, and reference guides for ways of working.
- Support capability-building initiatives related to process discipline, governance, and execution excellence.
2. Engagement & Adoption
- Act as a key enabler for process adoption by working closely with Brand, Culinary, Ops, Finance, agencies and all relevant groups
- Facilitate alignment sessions, walkthroughs, and calibrations to drive understanding and compliance.
- Promote a culture of discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement aligned with JFC values.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Management, or related field
- 3–5 years experience in marketing operations, process management, project management, or commercial enablement
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed organizations
- Exposure to NPD, IMC, or commercial planning processes preferred
