Title:  Assistant Brand Manager

The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for nurturing and growing the Red Ribbon brand and business through excellence in communications, taste, design, value, and customer experience in his/her assigned category (and digital platforms, if any). S/he is responsible for growing the brand’s sales, equity, market share, awareness, penetration, frequency, and conversion, and loyalty through his/her assigned category (and digital platforms, if any). 

 

Working closely with the Category Head, and Key Internal (e.g., Cross Functional Work Group) and External (e.g. Agencies, Project Suppliers) Stakeholders, s/he leads the development, implementation, and review of strategies, initiatives, and action plans pertaining to New & Existing Products, Packaging, Thematic & Tactical Campaigns on TV, Digital, Promotions, Public Relations, and other relevant Communications and Business Channels.

 

Category Marketing

  • Assists the Category Head in driving sales, market share, and equity growth of the brand and assigned products.
  • Provides required analyses, insights, and data to the development of strategies & plans for assigned products and categories.
  • Identifies market trends and opportunities and recommends ideas across the Marketing Mix (e.g. product, price, profit, place, proposition, promotion, packaging, people, etc.).
  • Leads assigned campaigns, promotions, activations, and other Marketing projects, and works with relevant stakeholders for a timely and successful planning and implementation.
  • Leads or co-leads development of new or improved product and/or new or improved packaging, in collaboration with internal cross functional teams and external agencies/ suppliers for a timely and successful planning and implementation.
  • Analyzes periodically his/ her category and product’s performance business results, and initiative results, and recommends the necessary short-term or long-term actions, monitoring systems, and success measures (Plan-Do-Check-Act process).
  • Creates, analyzes and revises category forecasts and coordinates supply management with cross functional teams to ensure forecast accuracy. • Conducts financial & P&L analysis periodically his / her assigned category, as well as product & promotional launches • Manages category expenses, CEs and invoices, and ensures plans are implemented based on the agreed timeline and budget.

 

Digital Commerce / Channels Marketing

  • Leads / Assists the Platform Lead in driving sales, market share, and equity growth of the brand and assigned platform/s.
  • Provides required analyses, insights, and data to the development of strategies & plans for assigned products and categories. Identifies market trends and opportunities and recommends ideas across the Marketing Mix (e.g. product, price, profit, place, proposition, promotion, packaging, people, etc.).
  • Leads assigned campaigns, promotions, activations, and other Marketing projects, and works with relevant stakeholders (internal & external) for a timely and successful planning and implementation.
  • Analyzes brand and initiative results within the assigned platform or channel and recommends the necessary short-term or long- term actions, monitoring systems, and success measures (Plan- Do-Check-Act process).
  • Ensures continuous digital marketing innovations and improvements to excite and attract audience.
    • Evaluates end-to-end customer experience within the platform environment.
    • Evaluates emerging technologies and provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
    • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience in brand management, ideally in the FMCG, fintech, or e-commerce industries.
  • Must be open to occasional travel for site visits, consumer research activities, partner meetings, conferences, events, and other business-related activities.
  • Must be willing to work on a hybrid arrangement (2 days onsite and 3 days work-from-home per week) and be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City.
