Title: Assistant Brand Manager
The Assistant Brand Manager handles a small category and is involved in the development and execution of its marketing strategies, plans and programs. Special projects may be assigned to him/her as an exposure/training in the other marketing KRAs that he/she will need to learn. The ABM will report directly to a Brand Manager.

BRAND MANAGEMENT
- Co-develops strategies and the brand marketing plan for his assigned category with the guidance of IS (Brand Manager). Obtains training in strategy development.
- Executes and evaluates initiatives/promotional activities for his category.
- Analyzes market research to provide inputs and apply learnings to Brand development and promotional plans of his category & that of the bigger category that he supports.
- Coordinates with other functions for the planning, execution and evaluation of his category’s programs and performance.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
- Assists Brand Manager in the creation of new product concepts/positioning and is able to create a Product Brief.
- Leads the project in the Product Development Workgroup and ensures coordination with cross functional teams with the guidance of IS/BM for an on-time launch/execution.
PRICING
- In-charge of price monitoring & competitive benchmarking for his category. Able to analyze competitive and market information and provide inputs/learnings to category plans.
COMMUNICATIONS
- Provides support to a bigger category via execution of its advertising or promotional initiatives for customers &/or store operations.
- Manages the merchandising requirements of his category and develops the appropriate materials.
DEMAND FORECASTING
- Obtains training in forecasting existing and new product innovation launch forecasts with the guidance of IS/BM.
- Monitors and evaluates actual sales vs. forecast of assigned projects.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management or Business Administration.
- Must have at least 1 year experience in carrying out task and responsibilities especially in brand management and product development.
- Asst. Brand Manager of a multinational consumer goods company
- Asst. Brand Manager of a major local FMCG company
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Can effectively utilize critical software applications/system (Excel, SAP, Business Intelligence tool) for data collation/reporting
- Can perform basic analytical skills and able to derive logical solutions to problems
- Must be willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City on a hybrid working set-up.
