Title: Area Manager (Metro South)
The position is responsible for the achievement of targets in terms of, Sales, Profit and QSC within the area through the management and/or development of multi-store operations and people that will result to business growth in the area.
Strategy Development and Deployment
- Studies and scans multi-store trade developments and business situations, including expansion opportunities; develops strategies and proposes expansion sites based on analysis; and directs, monitors and reviews the implementation of these strategies across the area, adjusting them as necessary, in order to ensure the achievement of area targets
Targets Achievement
- Monitors multi-store levels of target achievement in QSC, profit and sales; analyzes reasons for positive and/or negative variances; develops plans that addresses areas or items of concern; and coaches store management team in formulating plans or addressing variances in order to achieve area-level targets in each measure of business performance
- Conducts retail trade area scanning and prepares tactical plans, including sales-building initiatives and community relations programs, based on customer and retail trade area profile in order to ensure brand dominance in the area
- Audits and rates stores within the area regularly against Quality, Service and Excellence (QSC) standards; checks execution of new products in a timely manner; maintains high level of QSC delivery to guests; and, reviews QSC and Business Plan of the restaurant at the start of the year in order to ensure total area annual QSC performance
- Monitors properly all cost structure of a restaurant team; ensures understanding of the reasons for variances; and develops creative and/or innovative plans to address negative variances on cost items in order to ensure achievement of restaurant’s profitability target
- Creates local marketing plan for the area and checks its execution, together with that of the SBU marketing plan; and checks New Product Launch execution per restaurant in order to ensure total area sales target achievement
Operational Administration
- Decides on all restaurant operational concerns in the area, including CAPEX; coaches store management team in the implementation of operational processes; and recommends restaurant renovations and any appropriate action related to it in order to ensure operational efficiency
- Deploys improvements across the area and monitors results of these improvements in order to ensure their support in the achievement of targets
Others
- Performs other job or expertise related assignments in order to develop one’s self and/or share one’s expertise resulting to support for operational efficiency
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- College graduate preferably in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business related course, Behavioral Science and Industrial Engineering courses.
Experience
- At least 6 years store operations management experience in a quick service restaurant (QSR) industry
Licenses/Certifications/Trainings
- Training on advance-level of business strategy development Training on advance-level of profit management and financial analysis related programs

- Be able to perform well even under pressure or opposition
- Can work on shifting schedule
- Can work long hours/during holidays and special occasions
- Willing to be assigned in other areas/ handle the following areas; Pasig, Mandaluyong, Makati
