Title: Area Customer Activation Officer
The Area Customer Activation Officer (ACAO) is responsible for the strategic planning, organizing, leading and execution of local marketing activities for the assigned District and ensures that such programs contribute to the achievement of the set District sales/growth targets. The position closely collaborates with Category and Channels Marketing as well as with the other Districts in the planning and implementation of such programs. The role ensures that all District trade programs and efforts are aligned with Marketing & RBU strategies.
The ACAO will ensure the achievement of the Perfect Jollibee Store. Defined as ensuring Always Great Execution of category and channel strategies linked to the customer journey to drive growth, winning shares and stay ahead of the competition by providing the best in customer store experience.
The ACAO also ensures the compliance of all Trade Marketing efforts to the established Jollibee marketing standards and policies.
The ACAO may also be designated as the Overall Lead or SPOC to champion specific local marketing programs to ensure consistency across RBUs and further their development.
District Target Sales & Growth Achievement
- Develops local marketing strategies to achieve the District sales targets as aligned with Jollibee Marketing and RBU business strategies
- Develops and implements localized amplification programs for existing and new products that will further maximize sales opportunities for the assigned District
- Develops and monitors the execution of store opening plans (new/renovation)
- Develops, Monitors & Executes district-wide local demand generating & amplification programs with the ff in scope:
- Agreed Jollibee Marketing and RBU AOP programs
- Gap-fill opportunities based on insights from reports
- Store-specific opportunities as needed, where needed
- Counter Eye-ball Competition within the district
- Channel growth strategies
- Locally relevant Seasonal programs and special events in cooperation/coordination with category/brand strategies
- Local PR requirement: includes but not limited to KOLs, Social Media & other Digital Marketing efforts
- Locally relevant government efforts
- Evaluates said programs in compliance with established marketing policies and guidelines. Does PLE for local district efforts.
- Communicates agreed Marketing programs to stores
- Provides consultancy to MO as the district expert in understanding the customer
- Analyzes and evaluates the District’s reports on the following & includes assisting the ACAM prepare MBR presentations.
- Sales Performance (Products, Channels)
- Promotions – includes RLDs/Loyalty
- Market Sensing – incl RTA/Consumer behavior
- Competitive intelligence
- Other market information, that may impact district business
- Monitors and ensures OTIF implementation of the agreed Retail elements
- Co-approves with Sr. ACAM local promo & merchandising materials ensuring they are consistent with Corporate Marketing guidelines, category strategies and Brand Visual Identity (BVI) Standards
- Gathers and Maintains database of local store competitive network as well as competitive marketing activities in the District level and submits to MO in accordance with agreed cadence
- Regularly visits stores in the assigned district to ensure compliance of agreed activities, subsequently coordinating with RBU Operations where needed.
Perfect Jollibee Store (JolliStore)
- The ACAO ensures the achievement of the Perfect Jollibee Store(s) program in the assigned district.
- This will be based on the ff (but not limited to):
- Consistent Availability of Products: Both Permanent, Innovations and LTOs
- Price compliance (including price adjustments)
- Promotions OTIF compliance
- Merchandising & Retail Elements OTIF compliance in accordance with marketing standards and Brand Visual Identity
- Performs other jobs, tasks or expertise-related assignments in order to develop oneself and/or share one’s expertise to support the division/department’s mandate or the organization’s objectives.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related course as a minimum requirement; with post-graduate degree preferred.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in any or all of the following areas:
- Trade Marketing preferably in a multinational consumer goods company.
- Account Manager in a reputable (at least medium-sized) advertising/below the-line agency, preferably handling consumer goods accounts.
- Must be willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig on a hybrid working arrangement, with frequent field work across metro manila.
