Title:  Architect

The Architect is responsible for the delivery of architectural designs per brand by complying with the Store Network Development Process under Planning & Design, based on the target store count of Network Development Group within the Time, Cost, and Quality Standards for both New/Relocation and Renovation Stores.

 

Drawings Quality, Quantity & Timeliness

  • Responsible for the preparation of Schematic Layouts (SP) comprising of the customer area, kitchen area - production & non-production (back area) and site development according to the following references within the required SLA and SBU quantity target.
  • Responsible for checking and monitoring of the output of the 3rd party consultants within the following parameters:
    • Schematic Plan (SP) – coordinated with RS and Ops
    • Design Development (DD) – based on the current store design concept approved by the Design Center 
    • Construction Documentation (CD) – based on the established construction standards per brand   
  • Responsible for the preparation of Test Fit Drawings for RE/ Local Market as reference on the site negotiation and acquisition.
  • Responsible for the validation of the Site Information necessary to provide accurate design for the architectural, structural, and MEP.

 

Design Concept Application

  • Support the successful adaptation and implementation of design concepts for individual projects to meet local market needs, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, site limitations, and cost.
  • Responsible for preparing rendered perspectives for sites that require bidding of design.
  • Conducts periodic Design Audits to ensure the consistency of design execution during construction.

 

Project Management & Coordination

  • Represents P&D and provides expertise in the field of architecture in terms of planning and design and construction details. Apply knowledge of practice to QSR setting to all SBUs and stakeholders during issue resolution, and escalations to the following avenues:
    • Market Head or Country General Manager, store design concerns 
    • RS, for the Kitchen and operational requirements 
    • CRE, Site acquisition concerns  
    • MEP Team, MEP Engineering concerns 
    • CMG, Ongoing construction of stores 
  • Responsible for documenting all drawings for safekeeping.
     

P&D Process Compliance

  • Responsible for complying with the P&D protocols on the Store Network Development Process by adhering to the following practices: 
    • Weekly coordination with Country counterparts
    • Weekly submission of Project Updates
    • On-time response to RFIs (Request for Information) from different Stakeholders 


Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

  • Must be a Licensed Architect.

  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Must have strong project management and stakeholder management skills.

  • Willing to be assigned to Ortigas, Pasig City (hybrid setup).
