Title:  Quality Assurance Specialist

Position Summary

 

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for:

 

  • Conducting thorough laboratory testing on incoming and outgoing products to assess quality and compliance with established standards.
  • Developing and implementing testing protocols and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency in testing methodologies.
  • Analyzing test results, identifying deviations from quality standards, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintaining accurate records of testing procedures, results, and any deviations observed, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring and maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality for accurate testing.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality control, to address quality-related issues and implement process improvements.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Food Technology, or related fields.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in laboratory testing, food quality assurance and/or manufacturing.
  • Must be knowledgeable in food science and technology and laboratory testing.
  • Preferably has experience in implementing Integrated Management Systems (IMS) such as HACCP, ISO systems, FSSC, and SPC (Statistical Process Control).
  • Must be amenable to work on shifting schedules in Marcelo Green, Paranaque.
