Title: Engineering Supervisor (Plant Building Utilities)
The Engineering Supervisor for Plant Building Utilities will be responsible for the efficient operation, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement of plant utility systems. The role ensures the reliability, safety, and compliance of building and utility facilities, including electrical, water, compressed air, ventilation, wastewater, and refrigeration systems, while supporting operational excellence in a food manufacturing environment.
- Lead the operation, maintenance, and reliability of utility systems, including boilers, electrical systems, production facilities, and wastewater treatment facilities, while providing support for refrigeration and equipment maintenance as needed.
- Manage CAPEX projects from planning through implementation and drive sustainability and cost-saving initiatives focused on electricity, diesel, LPG, and water consumption.
- Lead utility technicians and third-party service providers, ensuring efficient operations, manpower effectiveness, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with manufacturing teams and external utility agencies (e.g., Maynilad and Meralco) to address operational issues, resolve utility concerns, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee spare parts management and SAP preventive maintenance programs, while leading Daily Direction Settings and participating in governance meetings related to safety, quality, and sustainability.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or any related Engineering discipline with a valid PRC license.
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in utilities, facilities, or plant engineering within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting and maintenance on the following: conveyor system, steam boilers and auxiliarries, compressed air systems, wastewater treatment, and water treatment facilities.
- Experience in preventive maintenance planning, utilities management, and contractor supervision.
- Knowledge of engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willing to work onsite in Sucat, Muntinlupa.
