Title:  Assistant Manager 1

The Assistant Engineering Manager will oversee the optimization, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production process equipment, refrigeration systems, compressed air systems, electrical and power systems, and other plant utilities. You will be responsible for supervising daily engineering operations, leading preventive maintenance programs, managing projects, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of the plant environment.

 

• Leads and implements the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program to ensure equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Maintains and improves production process equipment systems through upgrades, repairs, and reliability initiatives. 
• Oversees refrigeration system efficiency and reliability, including PM activities, corrective actions, and system improvements. 
• Manages and executes plant engineering projects while ensuring timelines, quality, and contractor performance. 
• Controls engineering costs and optimizes resource utilization to remain within allocated budgets.
• Promotes and ensures compliance with safety, environmental, health, and quality standards across engineering operations.
• Adheres to company policies, GMP, food safety, quality schemes, and safety regulations to maintain compliance. 

 

Job Qualifications:

 

• A Bachelor's degree graduate of Engineering courses, preferably, a licensed Engineer.
• With at least three (3) years of work and supervisory experience in a food manufacturing plant, preferably involved in similar production lines.
• Must have a background in process equipment, refrigeration, ventilating systems, electrical power, water, steam, compressed air supply systems, and other rotating equipment operation and maintenance.
• Must be amenable to working on-site in Sucat, Muntinlupa.
