Title: Plant Manager
Job Summary:
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing end-to-end operations at the assigned commissary site. This includes ensuring the production of high-quality products in the right quantity, on time, and at the most cost-effective rate. The role focuses on driving productivity, quality control, process improvements, and effective team management to meet the company's operational and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Productivity & Cost Control
- Develop and implement plans to achieve production targets while optimizing resources (manpower, materials, equipment).
- Approve production schedules and manpower requirements to meet business goals.
- Ensure on-time, in-full delivery of products to stores.
- Monitor financial performance, ensuring efficient resource utilization and cost control.

Quality & Sustainability
- Enforce compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Lead initiatives for plant improvements and facility upgrades.
- Address any deviations in production systems or customer feedback, ensuring corrective actions.
- Champion plant certifications such as HACCP and FSSC.

Process Improvement (Lean Manufacturing)
- Initiate and drive process improvements using lean manufacturing techniques.
- Oversee CAPEX and OPEX, ensuring cost-benefit and risk assessments for operational projects.
- Review and improve operational processes to optimize efficiency and profitability.

People Development
- Evaluate and mentor direct reports to identify performance roadblocks and developmental needs.
- Plan and implement training programs for team growth.
- Foster open communication, motivate teams, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Compliance to Standards
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Review and approve system-related transactions (e.g., SAP, Ivalua).
- Monitor the performance of third-party service providers.

Other Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless plant operations.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects to support company objectives.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support the company's strategic goals.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in cost control, resource optimization, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Strong background in quality control standards (GMP, HACCP, FSSC).
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements.
- Proficient in using SAP, Ivalua, and other manufacturing management systems.
- Certifications: HACCP certification and Lean Manufacturing certification are a plus.
- Other: Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
