Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager- Kawit
Position Summary
The Restaurant Manager (RM) is responsible for the store’s overall operations of. He/she is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the store’s plans for sales and profit growth, as well as people and quality targets. The RM also ensures alignment between the store’s targets and the area’s targets, and provides inputs to the Area Manager. The RM, along with all ARM, forms the store’s management team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Builds restaurant/brand awareness through community relations
- Ensures achievement of sales goals for New Products and System-wide marketing programs
- Ensures proper and timely execution of system-wide marketing programs
- Leads the management team in effective implementation of Restaurant Sales Building activities
- Regularly reviews Sales Performance as part of business review process. Is cognizant of all information that affect restaurant sales performance levels. Continuously seeks ways to improve sales level/sales growth
- Sets and meets Restaurant Sales and Growth goals, instills a sales and marketing focus in the team by guiding them in identifying guest needs, sales opportunities, and executing sales and local marketing strategies.
- Directs store FSC programs to store management team
- Leads in defining key information requirements and in identification of potential issues and concerns affecting overall shift effectiveness
- Leads the team to ensure that all restaurant operations processes to support FSC standards implementation by conducting floor supervision and travel path.
- Monitors the store’s FSC compliance. Coordinates with all necessary parties for support on the immediate resolution and handling of crisis at the store level.
- Oversees Restaurant Crisis Management and Media Handling. Coordinates with all necessary parties for support on the immediate resolution and handling of crisis at the store level.
- Ensures effective, accurate and consistent implementation of cash control system
- Handles restaurant business reviews and continuously seeks ways to improve P&L results
- Prepares Restaurant P&L budget and achieves the P&L targets
- Achieves Management Team Effectiveness
- Ensures achievement of targeted competency levels
- Ensures restaurant compliance with labor requirements such as government remittances, business permits, etc.
- Leads the management team in creating an atmosphere that lives the BK values
- Conducts Cash Control and Inventory Audits
- Conducts Monthly REV Audits
- Ensures restaurant adherence to Burger King’s operating systems, policies and procedure and standards, i.e. Security, Safety, Office and other reportorial and administrative requirements
- Ensures restaurant compliance with government requirements such as store permits and licenses
Education
College graduate, preferably in a Hotel and Restaurant Management or other business related courses
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or supervisory level in restaurant / food service or retail outlet operations.
Licenses/Certifications/Trainings
Basic Training for Restaurant Operations (BTRO) – part of Management Traineeship program
Working Conditions
Majority of work is at the store. Frequent pullouts for training programs, area meetings and other activities.
