Title: Management Trainee - JP Laurel
Position Summary
The Management Trainee is responsible on the creation of higher level of expertise and mastery of shift management to be able to achieve store operations shift sales and profit targets and at the same time achieve the FSC standards and continuously improve productivity level of service crews.
Primary Responsibilities
- Achieve shift sales target.
- Address customer feedback and complaints during the shift, ensuring top-tier customer service.
- Approve/disapprove leave applications during the shift in the absence of the Assistant Store Manager.
- Assist Store Manager in community relations activities.
- Clarify tasks, activities, and schedules during the shift.
- Ensure completeness of government permits and store requirements (e.g., health certificate, mayor's permit, business permit, BIR permit, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with cash control, employee discipline, and all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure crew productivity by following crew schedule and monitoring man-hours usage.
- Ensure safety and security program effectiveness, implement standard procedures and control systems, document feedback, and conduct necessary follow-through and corrective actions.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reports.
- Execute cleaning activities (including opening and closing).
- Implement assigned programs and ensure standards compliance during shift
- Implement cost management activities, standards, and procedures during the shift.
- Implement customer survey and interact with customers during the shift.
- Implement feedback and suggestion system (from sales building to evaluation) during the shift.
- Implement manpower schedule.
- Implement proper store merchandising.
- Implement sales program during the shift.
- Implement scheduled preventive maintenance, provide feedback on supplier's service, and implement equipment checklists.
- Implement speed of service programs (turnaround time, table turnover during peak, attention to pending orders).
- Lead service crew for highest product quality and supplies availability, ensuring product availability during the shift.
- Maintain office organization and orderliness during the shift.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels during the shift and minimize usage.
- Manage and implement crisis prevention programs and processes during the shift.
- Manage overall floor control and shift operations.
- Monitor crew performance during the shift.
- Motivate and boost crew morale to achieve shift objectives.
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
- Supervise opening and closing procedures.
- Track repairs, maintenance, and utilities costs during the shift, recommend measures, and ensure proper documentation and guidelines implementation.
Education
College graduate preferably in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business related course, Behavioral Science and Industrial Engineering courses.
Experience
- 2-3 years supervisory function in a restaurant or quick service restaurant.
