Title:  Assistant Logistics Manager - Davao

Assistant Logistics Manager, oversees and optimize inbound and outbound logistics operations, warehouse management, and team performance to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials.

 

Job Description

  • Manage all inbound logistics operations including materials receiving, storage, and inventory preservation.
  • Lead outbound logistics activities: order processing, distribution planning, and delivery scheduling.
  • Implement and monitor FIFO, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and inventory control using SAP or related systems.
  • Plan route designs, assess trucking needs, and coordinate with third-party logistics providers.
  • Supervise and train logistics personnel; manage performance evaluations and development.
  • Collaborate with internal departments for smooth warehousing and distribution flow.
  • Analyze data and suggest continuous improvements in logistics systems and processes.

 

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, Commerce, or Business Administration.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in warehousing and logistics, preferably with perishable goods.
  • Strong background in inventory control, space management, shipping/distribution, and documentation.
  • Knowledge in truck routing, warehouse equipment maintenance, and food logistics standards
  • Must be certified in Good Warehousing Practice
  • Proficient in SAP and basic computer applications
