Title: Environment, Health and Safety Manager (Danao, Cebu)
The Environment Health and Safety Manager is responsible for providing plans and direction to the organization in terms of Environment, Health and Safety and improve the environmental and safety performance of the plant.
- Ensure effective Implementation of Environmental and Safety Management System and procedures.
- Facilitates the submission of legal reports and renewal of all permits applicable to the operation of the company.
- Establishment and regular testing of emergency preparedness and response procedures.
- Provide recommendations on system improvements to the commissary site.
- Conduct assessment and audits in the commissary site.
- Institute EHS Training system and personnel awareness activities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or any Engineering course (preferably Chemical or Mechanical).
- Preferably a Licensed Engineer, Chemist, or equivalent.
- With at least (10) years of Managerial work experience in the field of environment, health, and safety.
- Must have relevant work experience in a food, FMCG, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO)/ Safety Officer (SO) by DENR and LLDA with familiarity
- Must have full knowledge of all mandatory requirements related to EHS (Government requirements).
- Must have proven track record in manufacturing safety execution and implementation/spearheading of safety related programs.
- Must have experience with handling start-up manufacturing plant with some experience in construction.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a strong initiative related to creating/implementing programs related to EHS.
- Preferably knowledgeable in ISO 45001 or 14001.
- Must be a resident in Cebu
- Candidate must be willing to work in Danao, Cebu. (Full On-Site)
