Title: Engineering Technician (Danao, Cebu)
The Engineering Technician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance of production equipment, utilities, electrical systems, and facility equipment. This role performs preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, inspections, condition monitoring, repairs, testing, and documentation to ensure equipment reliability, operational readiness, safety, food safety, and regulatory compliance. The position supports continuous plant operations by minimizing equipment downtime, maintaining asset performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to company, GMP, food safety, and EHS standards.
- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities according to approved schedules and standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues and restore equipment to operational condition.
- Monitor equipment condition, identify abnormalities, and recommend corrective actions to prevent failures.
- Support production, utility, electrical, and facility systems to ensure continuous plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, LOTO, GMP, food safety, and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and equipment history using SAP PM.
- Assist in equipment installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement projects.
- Support spare parts management by identifying material requirements and reporting inventory concerns.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support to contractors and cross-functional teams as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A graduate of Bachelor's/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or any related Engineering course.
- Professional Engineering license is an advantage but not required.
- Open to fresh graduates. Candidates with at least 6 months of relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, utilities, or equipment maintenance are preferred.
- Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and condition monitoring of industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, utility, and facility systems is an advantage.
- Preferably knowledgeable in GMP, Food Safety, EHS, LOTO, and industrial safety standards.
- Experience in SAP PM or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
- Possesses strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Must be amenable to work in Danao, Cebu (Full Onsite).
