Title: Senior Engineering Project Manager
The Senior Engineering Project Manager will ead large-scale capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including new facility construction, site expansions, and complex end‑to‑end engineering initiatives. This senior role oversees project lifecycle execution—from feasibility and design through construction, commissioning, and turnover—ensuring all projects meet quality, cost, safety, and timeline objectives. Moreover, this role shall oversee multi-disciplinary engineering teams, manage vendors and contractors, establish engineering standards, and drive project excellence across multiple sites.
- Leads the full project lifecycle: feasibility, scoping, budgeting, detailed design, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
- Directs and manages large-scale CAPEX projects across multiple locations.
- Develops engineering standards, project management tools, and best practices for organization-wide deployment.
- Formulates project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
- Collaborates cross‑functionally with Real Estate, Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, Legal, Facilities, and external partners.
- Oversees contractor and vendor performance, ensuring alignment with design specs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provides technical leadership across civil/structural, mechanical, utilities, and construction disciplines.
- Ensures compliance with government permitting, safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and quality standards.
- Leads issue resolution, escalation management, cost control, and change management processes.
- Drives capability building, mentoring, and succession planning for the project engineering team.
- Benchmarks industry practices to continuously improve engineering and construction processes.
Job Qualifications:
- A graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (Licensed Engineer preferred).
- With at least ten (10) years of managerial and technical experience in plant engineering, project engineering, or construction management.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-billion-peso CAPEX or large-scale facility construction projects.
- Expertise in civil/structural design, mechanical systems, utilities engineering, and end‑to‑end construction processes.
- Possess strong background in contractor management, cost estimating, and project controls.Advanced skills in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in F&B, manufacturing, or industrial plant projects is a plus; PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Must be willing to report on a hybrid work setup in Canlubang, Laguna.
