Title: Research and Development Specialist (New Product Development)
Research and Development Specialist (New Product Development) is responsible for the following:
🔹 Product Development & Innovation
- Lead the development and improvement of products within your assigned category
- Conduct product research, experimental design, and action planning for new and improved offerings
- Create and maintain technical documentation including formulations, processes, and revision histories
- Manage the creation and updates of Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP
🔹 Quality & Process Standardization
- Develop gold quality standards, packaging specifications, and process parameters
- Ensure seamless technology transfer to manufacturing sites and outsource suppliers
- Standardize formulations and processes across all production locations
- Validate data and review existing standards for continuous improvement
🔹 Technical Support & Collaboration
- Recommend equipment upgrades, process improvements, and alternative raw materials
- Provide timely updates on project progress and development activities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical assistance on R&D matters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and commercial readiness
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, or any related field.
- At least 1 year relevant experience in research and development function in a food manufacturing industry is an advantage but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Willing to be assigned in Calamba, Laguna.
