Title:  Research and Development Specialist (New Product Development)

Research and Development Specialist (New Product Development) is responsible for the following:

 

🔹 Product Development & Innovation

  • Lead the development and improvement of products within your assigned category
  • Conduct product research, experimental design, and action planning for new and improved offerings
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including formulations, processes, and revision histories
  • Manage the creation and updates of Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP

 

🔹 Quality & Process Standardization

  • Develop gold quality standards, packaging specifications, and process parameters
  • Ensure seamless technology transfer to manufacturing sites and outsource suppliers
  • Standardize formulations and processes across all production locations
  • Validate data and review existing standards for continuous improvement

 

🔹 Technical Support & Collaboration

  • Recommend equipment upgrades, process improvements, and alternative raw materials
  • Provide timely updates on project progress and development activities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical assistance on R&D matters
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and commercial readiness

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, or any related field.
  • At least 1 year relevant experience in research and development function in a food manufacturing industry is an advantage but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Willing to be assigned in Calamba, Laguna.
