Title: Quality Assurance Manager
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading, directing, and managing the Quality Assurance operations to support the company's objectives of providing products that consistently meet standards and specifications for quality and safety. The position is also responsible for overseeing compliance and integrating benchmarked quality standards, systems, processes, and practices across the supply chain in alignment with business directions.
- Manages all products from receiving to ensure materials used in manufacturing are provided with appropriate disposition and that all technical supporting documents are complete and correct according to prescribed specifications.
- Provides overall management of Physico Chem Laboratory and resources, including personnel, to ensure timely, reliable and cost-effective verification of in-process testing, equipment functionality, testing of Raw Materials and Packaging Materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
- Ensures that product and process deviations are investigated and closed according to established guidelines.
- Manages QA FG Line and Quality Site Logistics Manpower to ensure continuous quality support to manufacturing and Logistics.
- Reviews E2E Quality Operations constantly to monitor quality, to anticipate solutions to problems in a timely manner and to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensures product complaint (store feedback) investigations are properly investigated addressed, or resolved on time, and coordinates corresponding results with the appropriate department and authorities.
- Provides leadership to the Quality FG Line personnel organization and quality programs.
- Manages and plans Quality Operations budget and staffing to ensure responsibilities and programs are sustained.
- Ensures Food Safety Programs are executed and implemented.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or any related courses.
- Preferrably a licensed Chemist, certifications in any Six Sigma belt is an advantage.
- With at least five (5) years of experience in managing quality assurance finished goods line and quality site logistics manpower, preferably in meat and bakery industry.
- Holding at least three (3) years of managerial role experience.
- Must possess advanced knowledge in manufacturing processes, product specifications, food science and technology, including Food Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, and other analytical techniques.
- Must have experience in implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as HACCP, ISO systems, and SPC (Statistical Process Control) programs in a food plant environment.
- Must be knowledgeable in Quality Systems such as ISO/IEC 1705 certification, FSSC 22000, HACCP, Halal, and GMP certification, and the Statistical Process Control Program in the food environment.
- Willing to work on a shifting schedule in Canlubang, Laguna.
