Title: Manufacturing Excellence Specialist
The Manufacturing Excellence Specialist will be responsible for spearheading projects, driving operation and system improvements, formulating, gathering and analyzing both strategic and key performance indicators, and recommending the best feasible option to yield operational and financial improvements for all Manufacturing sites.
- Determines standards for operations and defines target performance.
- Secures agreement from respective stakeholder.
- Computes and reviews capacities for both manufacturing lines and logistics operations.
- Works with various supply chain department to optimize/rationalize or increase capacity to cater for peak season surges or long term increase in customer demand requiring additional commissaries/depots.
- Identifies productivity/efficiency improvements in supply chain process.
- Delivers continuous improvement projects.
- Represents MET in projects under the M&L teams, when needed.
- Abides by company policies, rules and regulations on discipline, Good Manufacturing/Warehousing Practices (GMP/GWP), Food Safety, Quality Schemes, Safety and other related company policies being implemented.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Management Engineering, or any Engineering Course with experience in LEAN Manufacturing
- Must have 1-2 years experience in process improvement, industrial engineering, and lean manufacturing.
- Must have experience in time and motion study with excellent analytical skills.
- Preferably with experience the following tools: Power BI, Cognito Forms, MS Flow/Automate.
- Must have excellent communication skills and critical thinking skills.
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid set-up at Canlubang, Laguna.
