Title:  Logistics Officer

 

The Logistics Officer will oversee and manage the logistics operations of JFC Brands. This role ensures efficient coordination with third-party logistics providers and internal departments to meet both regular and special logistics requirements.

 

  • Inventory Management & Control:
    • Develops inventory strategies, performs root cause analysis on variances, and provides contingency solutions for supply issues.
    • Collaborates with internal teams and 3Ps to improve inventory processes, assess supply chain impacts, and design relevant training modules.
  • Warehouse Management:
    • Oversees 3PL compliance, prepares SOW/SLA, and leads DC transitions while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
    • Conducts audits, maintains warehouse standards, and evaluates sites and suppliers based on network design.
  • Transportation Management:
    • Analyzes transportation data to plan fleet capacity and optimize outbound dispatch.
    • Reviews systems and processes, validates 3PL compliance, and explores alternative distribution modes to enhance service delivery.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Ensures SLA execution and monitors 3PL project progress, resolving issues and recommending alternatives.
    • Evaluates 3PL performance through scorecards, promotes best practices, and drives standardization across DCs.
  • Logistics Cost Management:
    • Prepares accrual reports, coordinates cost-efficiency projects, and conducts cost-benefit analyses.
    • Translates logistics processes into financial metrics and approves billings within control limits.
  • BCP & Risk Management:
    • Diagnoses and resolves complex issues using structured problem-solving and procedural changes.
    • Applies analytical tools to anticipate risks, develop solutions, and influence outcomes through strategic recommendations.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management courses and other 4-year course.
  • Must have at least a total of five (5) years of experience in end-to-end logistics operations.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of supervisory or people management experience.
  • Must be knowledgeable with experience in warehouse management, supply chain management, and project management. 
  • Must be knowledgeable and able to perform good warehousing/distribution practices. 
  • Preferably, knowledgeable in various ISO standards for logistics operations.
  • Preferably with prior exposure to using ERP Systems such as SAP/EWM.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work on shifting schedules as needed or required.
  • Must be willing to report onsite in Canlubang, Laguna.
